Several things:

- I've been searching all around, but it's really hard to find a site that mentions what is the most popular food Russian soldiers eat during the war. My guess is Rye bread, probably dark, as it is the most popular bread in the north. (As far as I know.)
If anyone has information, it would be appreciated if shared.
